Jewish Weddings

The Michael Vieira Band has over twenty years of experience playing for Jewish Weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs. We offer a complete music package that symbolizes and embraces the Jewish tradition to capture what each individual bride and groom wish to reflect in their ceremony. Our keyboard and flute duo will accompany the bride as she gracefully marches towards the Chuppah to the sounds of "Dodi Li." As the glass breaks and guests shout "Mazel Tov" we celebrate the union of bride and groom with "Chussen Kalle Mazel Tov" on the clarinet. The Michael Vieira Band also offers many other musical ensembles for ceremonies, giving you the option to mix tradition with whatever musical elements you choose.

A lively "Hora" is performed fluently in Hebrew as the bride and groom are lifted in the air and guests joyously join in the circle. Once guests are seated and the HaMotzi is said over the Challah, we perform a wide range of music including interactive songs in Yiddish, background instrumentals and lively dance music between courses. Our high energy dance music mixed with Horas and traditional songs are sure to be the right mix to guarantee an all night dance party and a joyous Simcha.
